Dispute Resolution (Arbitration, Mediation and Litigation)

We have represented numerous clients in high and low-profile cases ranging from disputes relating to land ownership, tenancy matters, copyright infringement, breach of contract, labour and employment matters, trademark infringement, insolvency matters, amongst others. Prior to establishing the firm, one of our partners formed part of a specialized team representing a telecommunication company in litigations and mediations around the nation. We often represent our clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, and advice on settlements particularly in situations where maintaining the relationship with the disputing party is essential to the client’s business. As such, many of our cases are settled out of court through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, and we also take pride in that as it saves our client’s money, resources and time.

We act as company secretaries to one of the largest recycling companies in Lagos; groups of companies engaged in agriculture, oil and gas and real estate, transportation; and a leading real estate company in Nigeria. We also assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents with internal and external parties, which aim to protect the client’s interests. In addition, we are registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission and can provide pre and post incorporation services.

Real Estate, Property and Construction Law

We have successfully assisted corporate and individual clients with acquiring properties and executed their respective title documents which adequately protect their legal interests and rights. We currently manage a 51-acre land earmarked for an estate development in the heart of Epe Local Government in Lagos. Prior to establishing the firm, one of our partners acted as the lead counsel between 2015 – 2022 for a developer of a 200-hectare expanse of reclaimed land in Lekki, Lagos. She provided legal advice and representation to the developer in the dredging, reclamation, and financing of the proposed estate.
