Literary works, Musical works, Artistic works, Audiovisual works, Sound Recordings, and Broadcasts are eligible for copyright protection under the Copyright Act 2022.
No formality is required to obtain such protection, however, there are factors that may make these works ineligible. For example, Literary, Musical or Artistic works must have original character and be fixed/embodied in a medium of expression to be eligible for protection under the Act.
