On Thursday, 30 October 2025, our Partner, A Tope Tokan-Lawal, welcomed a delegation from the Lagos State University ADR Society to our office. Led by Stephanie Bako, President of the Society, the delegates shared their plans for the new tenure, including the creation of an ADR Centre for students, an arbitration webinar, and a mock arbitration to equip students with practical experience in arbitration proceedings.
It was a lively and insightful engagement exploring how to actualise these initiatives, with a shared understanding of the crucial role that mentorship, intellectual collaboration, and financial support from legal practitioners play in advancing ADR education.
Our Partner, A Tope Tokan-Lawal, has proudly served as a Facilitator for the LASU ADR Society since 2023, mentoring students and supporting their growth in alternative dispute resolution. OTL Law continues to invest in the next generation of practitioners — hosting three members of the Society as interns each year to gain practical insight into arbitration and dispute resolution practice.
