Esosa Osagie attends the Fashion Law Institute’s Masterclass on Fashion, Finance, and Technology

Last week, our trainee associate, Esosa Osagie, attended the 2-Day Fashion Law Masterclass hosted by The Fashion Law Institute from 24–25 July 2025. The event brought together industry leaders, legal professionals, and creatives to explore the fast-evolving intersection of law, fashion, technology, and finance.

Anchored by thought leaders Ms. Bernice Asein (Fashion Law & Contracts), Ms. Chiamaka Okereh (Fashion Finance), and Mr. Temitayo Ismail (Fashion Technology & Law), the sessions offered practical, forward-thinking insights into the legal realities shaping fashion businesses today. As stated by the keynote speaker, Blessing Ebere Achu, “African Fashion Designers, the world is waiting for you.”

Esosa gained valuable exposure to a wide range of issues, including contract structuring across the fashion lifecycle, financing tools for emerging brands, investor-readiness documentation, and the growing influence of fashion tech and AI on intellectual property law.

The masterclass reaffirmed the importance of multidisciplinary legal support in the fashion industry and aligns with OTL Law’s commitment to supporting creative enterprises with legal innovation, strategic guidance, and business-focused solutions.

We are proud of Esosa’s continued growth and excited to deepen our impact in the creative and digital industries.
